Allyssa DeZaldivar (she/her) is a multimedia artist from Southern California, now based in Brooklyn. She earned her BFA in Studio Art Ceramics from the University of Arkansas’ School of Art in 2024 and has been teaching ceramics for +5 years. She currently teaches 12-week pottery sessions and is a studio technician at Brooklyn Clay Industries, instructs private wheel throwing lessons at BKLYN CLAY (Prospect Heights), and is a part-time studio assistant at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her personal work explores a fascination with irregular forms, symbols, limited color palettes, and glimpses of visceral texture.
